From elegant Peonies in the spring to fragrant Lilies in the summer, magnificent Dahlias and Sunflowers in the fall, and countless varieties in between, we harvest only the best of what is blooming each day!

You have two options: 1) Come and make your own bouquet from buckets of flowers hand-picked this morning. All are reasonably priced per stem. 2) Preorder a bouquet and we will have it ready for you today at our Flower Bar. Prices are discounted starting at $10.

2019 Firefly Flower Subscriptions

We offer a limited number of flower subscriptions. Seasonal mixed bouquets are available from mid-June to mid-October for pickup only, no home deliveries. This is an easy and affordable way to enjoy lots of amazing flowers all season long! Subscriptions are also great gifts ideas! Just select your subscription type. This may be 18 weekly bouquets or 9 bi-weekly bouquets. Then select your pickup location. You can get your bouquets at our Flower Farm Stand in Bluemont on Thursdays and Saturdays. It’s a great experience! There are other benefits too like special events, promotions and discounts.

We grow over 60 varieties of cut flowers so, be ready to be dazzled with beauty and color each time you pick up your wrapped bouquet from our Family Farm in Bluemont, VA.

We love Peony season! It starts in May, but only lasts a few weeks. We plan to have more Peonies in 2019, but they are limited. So many people love these amazing flowers! We Care About Our Environment!

Buying locally-grown flowers really does address important issues such as sustainability, quality, freshness and our economy. Buying flowers grown close to home means you're supporting local economies, using less gas in transport, and ultimately ending up with a much fresher product. We use sustainable farming methods so your flowers are not covered with synthetic pesticides and harmful chemicals. We also use cover crops and crop rotation to conserve and enrich the soil. For pest control we employ natural methods (including a few chickens). To conserve water we use rain water and drip irrigation. We also designate areas where we don't cut the flowers in order to provide food for the pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
